Verner Panton 1926 - 1998

Verner Panton created with his lamps, light art, which have proven its durability and class. He would challenge and encourage our imagination through his lamps, furniture and textiles, and one can still sense the playful and stylish element in the furniture of Panton's hand: Bright, bold colors and interesting shapes.

Verner Panton was born in 1926 and was educated at the School of Architecture in Copenhagen in 1951. He worked for Arne Jacobsen in 1955 until he founded his own studio, which grew into national and international recognition.
