The Chair (JH 501) was designed in 1949. The first model was with cane on the seat, but the following year in 1950, the model with leather was launched (JH 503).
The Chair was known as the one Kennedy and Nixon sat in, at the television duels during the presidential elections in 1960.
The Chair is also called "The Round Chair".
