In 1944, Møller founded his own furniture manufacturing company, JL Møllers Møbelfabrik, which specialized in producing handmade, high-quality furniture. He designed many of the pieces produced by the company, which quickly gained a reputation for its exceptional craftsmanship and sophisticated designs. Møller's furniture designs were characterized by their simplicity, functionality, and attention to detail. He worked primarily with natural materials such as wood and leather, and his designs were known for their clean lines and understated elegance.
