Restaurant Palægade

A few metres from our Flagship store is Restaurant Palægade, which since its opening in 2017 has been the city's go-to place for high-quality open-faced sandwiches, with a reputation for being among the best you can get in Copenhagen. The dream of the simple, honest and informal restaurant is what drives them and we think that dream must have come true. The restaurant embraces the open-faced sandwich traditions, but also welcomes innovative and creative ideas that create a true gourmet experience. The interior is French-inspired with chequered floors and candlelight, but with a Nordic touch in the form of classic furniture from the hand of architect Finn Juhl and others. During the summer months, the restaurant also offers alfresco dining on the tranquil Palægade under large parasols.

The Copenhagen district of Nørrebro was voted the world's coolest district in 2021 ⏤ and not without reason. Since it opened its doors in 2022, the restaurant has already been awarded a Michelin star and has been praised to the skies for its dishes, based on pure Nordic cuisine and with flavours from Vietnam and China.
